Nancy J. Clements, 76, of Elkhart, went Home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Elkhart General Hospital surrounded by her family.

Nancy was born on October 18, 1946, to the late Ward Vernon Stevens and Enola Pauline (Baker) Stevens in Flat Rock, MI. Nancy married the love of her life, Roy Clements, in 1967 at Apostolic Full Gospel Church, where they first met.

She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Betty Amos, Ward Stevens Jr., and Butch Stevens.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Roy Clements of Elkhart; children, Dan (Nikki) Clements, Roy (Janelle) Clements, and Cameron Clements; brothers, Bill Stevens and Rick (Carol) Stevens; sisters, Pauline Cassleman, Becky (Curt) Warren, Gail (Art) Hoyt, and Rita (Jeff) Wise; 18 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Nancy and Roy have been members of the Apostolic Full Gospel Church for 57 years. Nancy was an avid reader and audio book listener (especially when Roy was reading to her). In her working years, Nancy was an electronics tester for Polytron Co. Nancy was a phenomenal cook known for her famous goulash. In her spare time, Nancy enjoyed sharing her gift of singing for others and as part of her church choir. Nancy loved the outdoors, enjoying time in the sun. She had a green thumb and appreciated the beauty of flowers, particularly mums and peonies.

To Nancy, family was everything and she will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Service for Nancy will be held at 12pm Noon on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514.

Visitation with the family will be from 10:00am to 12:00pm before the start of the service at the funeral home.

Burial and graveside will be following the funeral service at Prairie Street Cemetery.
