Nancy Lee Clark, 73, of Elkhart, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023 at Elkhart General Hospital.

Nancy lovingly referred to as "Nan" was born on July 15, 1949 in Jackson, MI to the late Wilbur and Lottie (Bellawonder) Ellis.

She is preceded in death by her son, Kevin Lee Clark on December 18, 2017 and siblings, Garry Ellis, Debra Ellis and Karen Phillips.

Nancy is survived by her daughter-in-law, Leslie Clark of Elkhart; brother, John (Deb) Ellis of Goshen, sister, Teresa Duncan of Elkhart; grandson, Austin Lee Clark and 2 great grandchildren, Andrew Lee Clark and Preslee Ann Clark.

Nancy was a custodian with Elkhart Memorial High School for many years. She was a member of the VFW Post 88 in Elkhart.

Nancy was everyone's mom hosting many family get togethers.  She was an excellent cook. Nancy enjoyed playing Bingo and going shopping. In her spare time, she could be found catching up with her favorite tv shows such as Chicago Fire, CSI or Law and Order.

Nancy was generous, always putting others in front of herself.

Most of all, her grandchildren were her world.

A Celebration of Nancy's Life will be held at the VFW Post 88 at a later date.
