Nadine N. Warren, 89, formerly of Michigan City, IN passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at her home in Elkhart.

Nadine was born on October 14, 1930 to Otto Volksdorf and Ester Ernst Volksdorf in Michigan City, IN. She was married to the love of her life, David Warren on July 12, 1953. He passed away on March 21, 2019.

She is preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, Otto Roeske, her son, Hall Ross, and sister, Jane Susnis.

Nadine is survived by her son, Dana (Nancy) Warren of Elkhart; grandchildren, David Ross (Angela) Warren of Elkhart and Amanda (Greg) Powell of Warsaw; great grandchildren, Aubrianna (Bailey) Joy, Stefanie W., Jessica, Cadence, Sean, Liam and Lily Warren; great great grandson, Kaideyn Joy and her black cat, Molly.

Nadine was born and raised in Michigan City. She belonged to the Shriners in Michigan City and to Adamsville Church of God in Edwardsburg, MI. Nadine was a real "Renaissance Lady" who enjoyed decorating, looking pretty and shopping. She was particularly fond of the department store Carson Perry Scott in Michigan City over the years. Nadine loved all animals, especially her cat, Molly. Most of all, she was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.

Per the family's request, there will be no public services for Nadine and cremation was chosen. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., is assisting the family.
