Myra E. Gould, 86, of Juno Lake, Edwardsburg, Michigan, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Bill, who lovingly​ cared for her over a year. The prior year, her daughter Yolanda went above and beyond to take care of her so Myra could remain in her own home.

Myra was born on June 12, 1935, in Scottsboro, Alabama to the late Thurman T. Ritchie and Leona (Sanders) Ritchie.

She married her true love Robert "Bob" Gould on August 6, 1955, in Elkhart. He died July 8, 1998.

Surviving are her children, Yolanda Claire, Sherry (Bill) Kline-Klotz and William "Bill" Gould; also surviving are 8 loving grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and her sister Joanne (Roger) Wheeler.

In addition to her parents and husband Bob, a daughter Sonia Marie Gould and a brother Thurman "Leslie" Ritchie preceded her in death.

Myra retired from Taylor Products after 25 years of service. She was a lifelong member of the Episcopal Church, House of Happiness in Scottsboro, and St. John's in Elkhart. She loved living at the lake, gardening, cooking her special southern food, such as breaded squash, fried chicken and fish Bob and Billy caught from the lake. She was an accomplished musician, playing the piano, accordion, organ, and harpsichord. She always had a special place in her heart for Billy.

She was an amazing mother, wife, and grandmother who was truly loved and will be dearly missed.

Private family services were held, and burial was in Adamsville Cemetery. Myra enjoyed a Celebration of Life in June for her 86th Birthday.
