IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Monte L.
Davies
April 16, 1952 – February 26, 2025
Monte "Bigdog" spent his life dedicated to making others happy and keeping them laughing. He was a huge fan of not just his family but also Harleys and Jimmie Buffet. He was the life of the party, whether it was out with friends or hosting his backyard BBQs. He supported his 2 children as a single father working 2 jobs for many years at Creation Windows ,and also UPS until he retired.
His friendly and outgoing spirit was seen by many and a welcomed uplifting work presence.
He dedicated much of his life to caring for his family and just truly being a wonderful father, grandfather and more recently a great-grandfather he had his most fun in making others happy and laughing.
He is proceeded in death by his mother, Lou Klaudt, his Father Willard Davies, his step-father, James Klaudt, his brothers Skeet and Dennis Davies, and his beloved granddaughter Nature Ann.
He is survived by his children Shawn (Amber) Davies, his daughter Stephanie Davies, and his grandchildren Adam (Aubrie), Colin, and Libby and a great grandson Emmett Davies.
He touched so many lives whether it was at work, many of his fundraiser events, his motorcycles rides with friends, or his Jimmy Buffet parties. His love of puns and random quips was shared by quite a few and he was never shy to post his opinions for all to see. His quick wit shined through to all.
He will be remembered for his vibrant, sweet, kind personality as he touched so many lives and was loved by many. He was never afraid to help a friend in need. In his honor, please wear your Hawaiian gear and hold up a glass of Bacardi and Coke and celebrate the wonderful life he lived , completely unfazed by the opinions of most and the man who loved his family and lived best life to the fullest without regret. Cheers to the Bigdog! May his memory be forever enjoyed and missed.
There will be a celebration of Monte's life at a later date.
