IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Molly M.
Crowell
April 24, 1966 – December 11, 2024
Molly M. Crowell, 58, of Edwardsburg, MI, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, after a courageous battle with Cancer. She was born April 24, 1966, in Dowagiac, MI to Katherine G. (Matlock) Goodger and Joseph L. Goodger.
Molly is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Joe Crowell; children, Daniel (Elizabeth) Crowell and Alexis Crowell; grandchildren, Riley Albright, Owen Dawson, and Parker and Winter Crowell; mother, Katherine Goodger; siblings, Ron (Debbie), Peggy (Richard Mills), Jesse, Terry (Evelyn), and Jerry Goodger; and her loving felines, Sweetheart, Hazel, and Traveler. She is preceded in death by her grandson, Jackson Crowell, her father, Joseph Goodger and siblings, Larry Jo Goodger, Rose Will, and Cindy Roland.
Molly was a strong willed and independent woman who always put her family first before herself. Being a mother and grandmother meant the world to her and she often was a den mother to her nieces, nephews and the friends of her children, offering helpful advice and warm hugs. She married the love of her life, Joe Crowell, on August 3, 1989, and enjoyed spending her years as a craft maker, herbalist and dedicated homemaker.
Molly was a spiritualist who was a very skilled apothecary and gardener; she took care of her many gardens and houseplants. She knew everything about each herb she grew in her garden and made teas, tinctures, lotions, and soaps with them. She always knew which herbs would help any issues in the body. She enjoyed taking nature walks and going sight-seeing. Molly will be dearly missed by her loving family.
Her family believes she's let her hair down in heaven's garden and is dancing happily under the full moon, free of all pain.
In accordance with Molly's wishes, cremation was chosen and will take place at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart. Molly chose not to have a funeral service at this time but rather a small and private celebration of life with her family at a later date. The family would like to thank the kind and caring staff at Corewell Hospice for their services and help in making Molly and her family comfortable during her final moments. Memorial donations may be made to Corewell Hospice, 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, MI 49085.
