MIDDLEBURY — Mitchell J. "Mitch" Pike, 54, of Middlebury passed away at his home after an extended illness at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013.
He was born in Elkhart on Dec. 7, 1958, to Paul E. and Sharon K. (Cripe) Pike. His father, Paul, survives him at home, but his mother precedes him in death.
Also surviving are a brother, Donald E. (Cindy) Pike of Middlebury; niece Nicole L. Pike; stepniece Nicole Loomis; great-nieces Ciara Pike and Bailey Shiltz; great-nephew Tyler Myers; and great-stepnephew Kameron Loomis.
In accordance with Mitch's wishes, no services have been scheduled and burial will take place at 2 p.m. today, Jan. 9, 2013, at Little Pine Cemetery in Goshen. Billings Funeral Home, Elkhart, is handling the arrangements.
Mitch enjoyed fishing, playing bingo and the lottery, spending time with his Harley-Davidson friends and watching Notre Dame football.
