ELKHART — Mildred Ann (Pfeiffer) Polman, 81, of Elkhart, passed away Monday morning, Nov. 28, 2011, at Hubbard Hill Estates.
Mildred was born June 9, 1930, in Dell, Ark., to the late Tony and Grace (Hoover) Tucker.
Mildred is survived by several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and -nephews.
Mildred was a school teacher for the Elkhart Community School Corporation for more than 30 years.
Graveside services for Mildred will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Olive West Cemetery, located at 61081 C.R. 3 Elkhart, IN 46517. Pastor Dick Matteson, chaplain with Hubbard Hill, will officiate. Arrangements for Mildred are under the direction of Billings Funeral Home.
