ELKHART — Michelle Lyne Treat, 39, of Elkhart, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at St. Francis Hospital and Health Centers in Indianapolis after an extended illness.
She was born July 14, 1972, in Kankakee, Ill.
Surviving are her husband, Wayne Treat of Elkhart; parents Michael L. Sr. and Carol J. (Early) Gilbert of Elkhart; and brother Michael L. (Michelle) Gilbert Jr. of Elkhart.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Troy L. Gilbert.
Michelle had been employed at Ramco Engineering since 1992. She truly loved her job and the people she worked with. Michelle enjoyed spending time reading, singing karaoke, playing pool and going to barbecues.
Cremation has taken place at Altera Cremation Services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart has been entrusted with the arrangements.
