Michele J. Groves, 52, of Bristol, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at her ADEC residence in Bristol. She was born on December 16, 1967 in Batesville, Mississippi to the late Richard P. Groves and Linda Lea (Whitaker) Neilson. Michele is survived by her loving housemates who were all like close sisters and family to her throughout the years.

Michele was a loving soul with a warm personality. She was kindhearted and feisty; a very likable lady who got along with everyone and loved to meet new people. Michele also had a mischievous side to her that would twinkle in her eyes whenever she was up to something, especially when she would surprise others unexpectedly for her amusement. She enjoyed all kinds of music. She would often dance and snap her fingers along with it. Michele was soft-spoken and courteous to others, remembering to say please and thank you often. She chose to look at the bright side of things even when times were tough. Michele will be missed greatly by her loving friends and the caring staff at ADEC.

A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, September 23 at 4 pm at 19670 SR 120 Bristol, IN, Building 2. She will be laid to rest at a later date in Little Pine Cemetery. Cremation was chosen and will take place at Billings Funeral Home and Altera Cremation Services, 812 Baldwin St. Elkhart, IN 46514.
