Michael Ray Vazquez, 72, of Wakarusa, IN, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026, at The Waters of Wakarusa. He was born in July 19, 1954, in Gary, IN to the late Michael R. Vazquez and Mary Luna Vazquez.

Cremation was chosen and will take place at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart, IN.

Michael was a hard worker and worked for Methodist Hospital for many years in janitorial maintenance. He mostly kept to himself and lived in Hobart, IN for a time. He will be dearly missed.
