BRISTOL — Michael A. Sunday, 71, of Bristol, died peacefully at his home of natural causes on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018.

He was born, in Elkhart, Dec. 2, 1946, to the late Arthur and Marie (Boyer) Sunday.

He married Edith Tallent in 1971, and she preceded him in death in 2011.He married Cyd Baumgardner in 2012, and she survives.

Also surviving are children, Eugene (Heather) Sunday and stepdaughter Shelley (Michael) James; grandchildren Timothy and Emily Sunday; stepgranddaughter Thea James; and Cassie the Lab.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Patrick Sunday and daughter Zara Sunday.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at St. John of the Cross Episcopal Church, 601 E. Vistula, Bristol.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services.

The Rev. Jen Fulton will officiate, and Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the family.

Michael worked for the FAA for 30 plus years as an engineer and was a prolific reader enjoying science fantasy and history.

Memorials may be given to St. John of the Cross Church or Loveway.
