Michael A. Keplinger, 63, of Elkhart, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Elkhart General Hospital. Michael was born on February 20, 1959 in Elkhart to the late Homer and Jewels (Butler) Keplinger. Surviving is his son, David Michael Keplinger, daughter Jennifer Collins; four granddaughters, Alexis Porter, Autumn Porter, Annabell Porter, and Chaylynn Collins; longtime companion of 23 years, Alice Davis; brother James Keplinger, sister Deb Keplinger; and his aunt, Ola Mae Cloud of Lonoke, Arkansas.

Michael worked as a millwright at Vincent Bach for 42 years. He and Alice enjoyed traveling, going to casinos, and visiting Las Vegas. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan.

A gathering of friends and family will be held on November 10, from 3-5 p.m. at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. Elkhart. Cremation has taken place. Condolences may be made online at www.billingsfuneralhome.com
