Michael A. Bueter, 66, of Elkhart, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Miller's Merry Manor in Walkarusa.

Michael was born on February 9, 1954 in Huntington, IN to the late, Wilfred Bueter and Catherine (Leege) Bueter. He married the love of his life, Lori (Miller) Booker in Baldwin, MI on December 4, 2007. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Michael is survived by his wife, Lori Booker of Elkhart; children, Chris Bueter of Seattle, WA, Peter (Chelsie) Booker of Anderson, IN, Samuel (Katelyn) Booker of Elkhart, Aaron Booker of Lafayette, IN and Katie Bueter of Washington; brothers, John (Rhonda) Bueter of Baldwin, MI, Chuck (Beth) Bueter of Elkhart and Andy (Tracey) Bueter of Niles, MI; grandchildren, Savannah and Arthur.

Michael was in medical diagnostics with Miles/Bayer as well as a substitute teacher with Elkhart Public Schools. He enjoyed his job educating students. Michael was a member of St. Mary's of The Annunciation Catholic Church in Bristol. He was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed fishing who was a 30 year member with "The Michiana In Fisherman's Club". Michael also enjoyed downhill skiing in his free time. Most of all, Michael adored his family, especially his grandchildren.

There will be a celebration of Michael's life at a later date. Per the family's request, cremation was chosen. Billings Funeral Home, 819 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN is assisting the family.
