Michael Brian Buchanan, 32, of Elkhart, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes, Saturday, October 5, 2024 in Niles, MI. Michael was born on September 10, 1992 in Elkhart. Surviving are his parents Ted A. and Joan E. (Campbell) Buchanan of Bristol; two sisters, Ryan (Shawn) Nofziger of Grand Beach, MI, Mikayla Campbell of Elkhart; two brothers, Shawn Buchanan of Michigan City, IN, Cody (Erica) Buchanan, Elkhart and his three best brothers from another mother, Clay Noetzel, Maison Cavender and Shaun Cavender.

Michael was employed at Thor Motor Coach Co., Plant 250 as the shipping and receiving supervisor. Michael was a 2011 graduate of Elkhart Central High School. He loved to play disc golf, cook, collect Marvel comics, and watch Marvel movies. Michael was an avid sports fan, with the Clemson Tigers, Minnesota Vikings and Miami Heat his favorite teams. Most of all he enjoyed his time with his family and close friends. He was much loved and will be missed, especially by his faithful canine companion, Fiona.

Services celebrating the life of Michael Brian Buchanan will begin with visitation for his friends and family on Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. Elkhart.

A mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 11, at 11:00 a.m. with additional visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary of The Annunciation Catholic Church, 411 West Vistula St., Bristol, IN. Reverend Robert "Bob" VanKempen will officiate. Cremation will follow with burial at a later date at Oakridge Cemetery, Bristol. In lieu of flowers, Michael's family kindly request memorial donations in his name to the Humane Society of Elkhart Co. 54687 CR 19, Bristol, IN 46507
