Melissa Ann "Missy" Wright, 36, passed away of natural causes but unexpectedly on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born in Elkhart on June 24, 1985 to James and Nancy C. (McDonald) Wright.

Surviving is her mother Nancy C. Wright; two sisters, Jennifer (Chris) Brown, Crystal Wright; three brothers, James (Heather) Wright, Johnny (Ann) Wright, David Bennett as well as several nieces and nephews whom she adored.

Missy was a loving daughter, sister, Aunt, and friend to all she knew. She had a heart of gold and will be missed by her family and friends. She will also be missed by her fur babies Maggie and Allison.

She was preceded in death by her father James Wright; grandparents Ben and Catherine MacDonald and Richard and Helen Dehm.

In honoring the families wishes, cremation was chosen, under the care of Billings Funeral Home, Elkhart. A Celebration of Life for Missy will be held at a later date.
