Melinda "Mindi" Bair, of Elkhart, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 in Elkhart General Hospital.

Mindi was born on March 2, 1959 in Elkhart, IN to Joseph "Joe" R. Ball and Janeth M. (McLaughlin) Ball. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Janeth and her brothers, Joseph F. Ball and Gregg W. Ball.

Mindi is survived by children, Jenna (Jordan) Mansfield of Elkhart and Jason Obendorf of Bristol; and 5 grand-children, Micah, Johonna, Jaron, Jader and Judah.

Mindi graduated Valedictorian from Elkhart Central High School. She worked in the medical field and Customer Service throughout her life, recently with Welch Packaging. Mindi was a nature enthusiast. She was known to have a big heart and enjoyed time with her friends. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

A Funeral Service for Mindi will be at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, August 4, 2020 in Bristol United Methodist Church, 201 S. Division St., Bristol, IN with Pastor Gary Lewis as celebrant. There will be a visitation for family and friends 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM in the church sanctuary.

Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., of Elkhart is assisting the family.
