Obituary
ELKHART — Mayrene (Fox) Gibson, 75, of Elkhart, passed away Thursday, April 10, at Elkhart General Hospital.
She was born May 1, 1938, in Campton, Ky., to William and Elsie J. (Spencer) Banks.
Survivors include five daughters, Judy (Buck) Letner of Elkhart, Lois (Lee) Johnson of Arizona City, Ariz., Joyce (Blane) Bowlin of Elkhart, Melinda (Lyle) Becker of Edwardsburg, Mich. and Shawn Barber of Paducah, Ky.; two sons, James (Anita) Gibson of Goshen and Richard Gibson of Elkhart; 18 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, James Gibson, and one granddaughter, Nacarra Fay Letner.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the 2 p.m. memorial Thursday, April 17, at Journey Church, 12100 S.R. 23, Granger. Pastor Jeremy Eisele will officiate.
Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is entrusted with arrangements.
