Ms. Maureen Carol Cleveland, 78, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully of natural causes on Friday, December 27, 2024, within the familiar and peaceful confines of her own home. Maureen was born on October 7, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Albert Charles and Frances Cecilia (Lynch) Thurman. They precede her in death along with a son, Bennet Wayne Nulf, a daughter, Barbara J. Nulf Heckman, and former spouses David D. Nulf and Larry D. Cleveland.

Maureen is survived by her son, Brian Charles Nulf of Waynetown, Indiana, as well as a small host of loving extended family and friends.

In accordance with her wishes, Maureen is to be cremated and will ultimately be buried in a family plot in Portage, Indiana. Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elkhart, Indiana are assisting the family with Maureen's arrangements.

Maureen was a registered nurse who worked at several area hospitals and clinics, but was also a homemaker who never hesitated to do what it took to keep the household up and running. She was also a long-time member of New Creation Fellowship Church in Elkhart, where she enjoyed attending when she could and catching up with Pastor David Klahr and his family.

Memorial donations may be given to the church in Maureen's memory.
