ELKHART — Maureen J. Hartman, 75, of Elkhart, passed away Thursday, Dec. 29, at Elkhart General Hospital.
She was born Aug. 14, 1941, in Yonkers, N.Y. to Edward J. and Nona (Walsh) Curtin.
Survivors include two daughters, Tina Waite of Bristol and Paula (Shawn) Routson of Elkhart; two stepdaughters, Judy (Norman) Rupright of Elkhart and Corina Hartman of Elkhart; one stepson, Dale Hartman Jr. of Elkhart; three brothers, Edward (Patricia) Curtin of Virginia Beach, Va., Jerry (Judy) Curtin of Eclectic, Ala. and Patrick (Lois) Curtin of Elkhart; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother who raised her, Frances (Gurka) Curtin; husband Dale T. Hartman Sr.; one son, Allen Hartman; one brother, Mike Curtin; one sister, Garnet Waters and her son-in-law, Andy Waite.
The family will receive friends two hours prior to the 1 p.m. memorial service Saturday, Jan. 7, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 29635 C.R. 10, Elkhart.
Pastor Ron Bell will officiate.
Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is entrusted with arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Epilepsy Foundation in memory of Maureen.
