Obituary

ELKHART -- Mary Lou Northern, 71, of 1630 Frances Ave., died at 11:54 p.m. Sunday (Nov. 5, 2006) at home.

She was born Oct. 8, 1935, in Elkhart to Roy and Edna (Johnston) Fuller.

She is survived by one sister, Shirley (Larry) Wallace of Elkhart.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Norma Jean Main, Bonnie Ruth Fuller and Betty June Klase; and one brother, Donald D. Fuller.

Friends may call one hour prior to the noon Thursday funeral service at Belmont Mennonite Church. The Rev. Dan Miller will officiate. Burial will take place in Prairie Street Cemetery. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Northern formerly worked as a custodian and clerical secretary at Belmont Mennonite Church. She also worked at the Blind & Hearing Impaired in Marion, was a member of Belmont Mennonite Church and auxiliary member of Greencroft Towers.

Ms. Northern was a graduate of Elkhart High School, a Sunday school teacher and volunteered at Mother's Club, both at the church.
