ELKHART -- Mary Josafat "Dolly" Moore, 88, of Elkhart, died at 8:17 p.m. Monday (Dec. 28, 2009) in her home.

She was born Sept. 7, 1921, in Elkhart to Louis and Marie Josafat (Patricelli) DelPrete. On Dec. 29, 1941, she married Richard "Dick" Moore in Elkhart.

He survives with two sons, Anthony (Pam) Moore and Rich Moore, both of Elkhart; one daughter, Patricia (Ron) Burkhardt of Marble Falls, Texas; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one brother, Danny (Florence) DelPrete of Elkhart; and one sister, Philomena Alt of Elkhart.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Joe, Lucio, Mike, and her twin brother, Anthony DelPrete.

Mrs. Moore was a homemaker and member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She loved to cook for and spend time with her family, as well as sew.

Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., and a half-hour prior to Monday's 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Vincent de Paul. The Rev. Glenn Kohman will officiate. Burial and graveside services will follow in St. Vincent Cemetery, Elkhart.

A parish rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
