ELKHART — Mary Ann McGuire, 76, of Elkhart, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013, at Elkhart General Hospital.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. memorial Mass on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 411 W. Vistula St., Bristol. The Rev. Robert A. Van Kempen will officiate. Interment of her cremated remains will follow in Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart.

ELKHART — Mary Ann McGuire, 76, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully with her family present at Elkhart General Hospital on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013.
She was born Aug. 14, 1937, in Gostivar, Yugoslavia.
On Dec. 31, 1966, she married John J. McGuire in Osceola. He survives at home.
Other survivors include two sons, Walter E. Luefling III of Elkhart and James (Dianne) McGuire of Morristown, N.J.; one daughter, Pamela L. Lovely of Elkhart; and two grandchildren, Christina A. Lovely of South Bend and Brendan J. McGuire of Morristown.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Carl Phillipoff.
Mary Ann was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. After attending Nazareth Academy in Kalamazoo, Mich., she graduated from Riley High School in South Bend in 1956. She was employed at CTS for several years. She was a member of St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church in Bristol, Phi Sigma Alpha Sorority, Red Hat Society, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 599, Elkhart Garden Club and Welcome Wagon.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at Saint Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church in Bristol. The Rev. Robert A. Van Kempen will officiate. Interment of her cremated remains will be in the Veteran Towers at Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart.
Donations may be given to American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, or Saint Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church in Mary Ann's memory.
