ELKHART — Mary A. Comadoll, 72, of Elkhart, passed away in her home after an extended illness at 12:58 a.m. Dec. 6, 2013.

She was born in Hartford, Mich., on Oct. 2, 1941, to the late Earl and Madeline (Beam) McLaughlin.

Surviving are her daughter, Holly (Fred) Nusbaum; sons Daniel and Larry Jr. Comadoll and brother William II (Nancy) McLaughlin, all of Elkhart; and five grandchildren.

In accordance with Mary Ann's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a graveside service in Prairie Street Cemetery in Elkhart will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013.

Arrangements have been placed under the care and direction of Billings Funeral Home in Elkhart.

Mary Ann worked at Durakool of Elkhart as an electronics solderer for more than 25 years. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and her two labs, Jack and JoJoBean. She was an avid animal lover and was a proud member of the Humane Society of the United States.
