Ms. Martha S. Ferm, 67, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully at Elkhart General Hospital following some health and surgical complications on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 12:57 pm.  She was born August 2, 1952 in Ft. Wayne to the late Clarence A. Cox and Bertha G. (Ellert) Cox, who survives her in Elkhart.

Also surviving are her children Paula VanTassel of Visalia, CA and Keith Passmore of Elkhart; sisters Loretta Shay of Elkhart and Donna Groves of South Bend; grandchildren Whitney, Alaya, Katrina, Shawn, Abby and Chase and seven great grandchildren. Additionally, a host of loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends mourn her passing as well. A brother, Tim Cox, has preceded Martha in death.

Martha's services have been postponed until after the Covid-19 social restrictions have been lifted.

Martha was a very family oriented homemaker who enjoyed spending time with those she loved. She also liked to make and sell crafts, play cards, bingo and Facebook games, collecting elephants, and was an avid reader.
