Obituary
ELKHART — Mark B. Cox, 62, of Elkhart, passed away Tuesday, June 10, at The Center For Hospice Care, Elkhart.
He was born May 4, 1952, in Muncie, to Benjamin and Alice (Higgs) Cox.
In addition to his father, other survivors include three brothers, John, Jim and Jason Cox; and two sisters, Jacinda Crawmer and Beth Wellman.
He was preceded in death by his mother; sister Ann Cox and stepmother Patricia Cox.
Mark loved music, singing, playing his drums and going for rides around town. He benefited from the care and support of the staff and teachers at the foster group home and ADEC day program throughout these past several years.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the 2 p.m. celebration of life service Tuesday, June 17, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin Street, Elkhart. Pastor Dave Lade will officiate. Burial of his cremated remains will be at a later date in Little Pine Cemetery.
