Obituary
UNION, Mich. — Marjorie S. "Marge" Lee, 68, of Union, passed away Saturday, Jan. 7, at the Elkhart (Ind.) Hospice House following a brief illness.
Marge was born July 8, 1948, in Elkhart, to Chuck Johnson and Lois LaVonne (Lantz) Myers. She married Daniel "Dan" Lee on Aug. 17, 1991, at Bonneyville Mill in Bristol, Ind.
Surviving are her husband of 26 years, Dan, of Union; five children, Angie (Jose) Santos and Barb (Dan) Meiers, both of Elkhart, John (Belinda) Garrett of Goshen, Ind., Paula (Greg) Rex of Mishawaka, Ind., and Melissa (Scott Basa) Hanks of Union; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and brother Steve (Norma) Johnson of Bristol.
Marge was preceded in death by her parents and step-father John Myers.
Marge was a loving homemaker. She had a love for animals, fishing, camping, being outdoors and spending time with her family.
Visitation for Marge will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. A brief service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, prior to the burial, which will follow at Salem Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the family to help with expenses.
