She was born July 7, 1925, in Elkhart to David and Juanita (Hollar) Rathbun. On Oct. 4, 1947, she married Carl H. Bost.

He survives along with one son, Lamar A. (Gina) Bost of Bristol; one daughter, Anita (Chris) Burkhead of Kokomo; and three grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Keith McFarren of Faith United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Bost was a graduate of Elkhart High School. She was retired from the trust department of KeyBank, formerly known as Society Bank, and had also been employed at First National Bank and Ameritrust. She was a member of Zontia Club, Riverside Christian Church and the Edwardsburg Snow Mobile Club. She enjoyed traveling and skiing.
