ELKHART -- M. Faye Macik, 63, of Elkhart, died at 4:36 p.m. Sunday (Oct. 5, 2008) in her home.

She was born Dec. 1, 1944, in Tullahoma, Tenn., to Wayne and Louise (Millrany) Cagle.

Mrs. Macik is survived by her husband, Foe Macik of Elkhart; one son, Tony (Melissa) Macik of Elkhart; one daughter, Terri (Dan) Loofboro of Dayton, Ohio; one granddaughter, Kyley Peyton Macik at home; her mother, Louise Obiala of Chicago; one brother, Jerry (Joanne) Macik of Mobile, Ala.; and one sister, Donna Buchanan of Chicago.

Mrs. Macik was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Cagle.

She was a sales representative for the former Eslinger's Appliance and Service in South Bend for six years. She was a graduate of Thorton High School in Dalton, Ill., and liked working crossword puzzles. Her most treasured times were spending time and just being a grandmother to Kyley.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 8, 2008) at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, a tribute service will close out the evening at 8 p.m. Cremation will follow the service.
