Marie Elizabeth Hoffman, 77, of Elkhart, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023 at Riverside Village Nursing Home.

Marie was born on May 6, 1946 in Elkhart to the late Eugene and June (Shriver) Wells.

She is preceded in death by her 2nd husband, Daniel Wright and recent husband, Shephen Hoffman.

Marie is survived by her daughters, Susan Barlow of Mishawaka and  Debora (Mike) Anderson of Elkhart, IN and son, Josh (Valerie) Hoffman of Mishawaka; grandchildren, Heather (Aaron) Holland, Brittany (Tony) Patterson, Tara Francis, Aubrey Hoffman, Haleigh Hoffman and Ryan (Elysia) Francis; great grandchildren, Martino Martinez, Mia Martinez, Maycee Martinez, Reese Holland, Roman Francis, Max Martinez, Marianna Francis, Sloane Francis and Felix Martinez and the father of her daughters, William (Anita) Barlow of Goshen.

Marie enjoyed cooking great meals for her family during the holidays. In her spare time, she crocheted blankets and tended to her garden.

Marie had a great sense of humor, and she will be missed.
