Mrs. Marie Adaline Pack Criqui, 80, of Union, MI, passed away peacefully following an extended illness at Golden Age Manor in Stevensville, MI on Friday, October 23, 2020 at 10:45 am. She was born on March 22, 1940 in Seymour to the late Salem F. and Marie L. (Schiller) Hopper, and is also preceded in death by her husbands Joseph A. Pack, Jr. and Leo A. Criqui, as well as brothers Norman and G. Richard Hopper and sisters Mildred J. and Norma J. Hopper and Betty J. Roche.

Surviving are children Joseph (Joyce) Pack of Edwardsburg, MI, Gaylene Beaird of Elkhart, Kevin Pack of Vandalia, MI and Anne (Duane) Signs of Martinsville, sisters Sally Ollis of Florida and Bonnie Bennett of Illinois, and a huge bunch of loving grand and great grandchildren, as well as one great-great grandson, Linkon Davis. She is also survived by a host of extended family, friends, neighbors, and church family.

Family and friends can gather at Plum Grove Cemetery, just north of Union, MI, on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020 at 12:00 noon for a brief graveside life celebration and burial hosted by the children. Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart has been assisting the family with arrangements.

Marie worked in security at Plumrose and made band instruments at Gemeinhardt's, both in Elkhart, for many years and was a devout Christian lady who loved attending the First Pentecostal Church of Edwardsburg as well as old-fashioned revivals. She was also very artistically talented, and loved to do all sorts of crafts, embroidery, and needlepoint. In her free time, she loved playing cards and riding around on her riding lawn mower. It was also noted that while Marie dearly loved both of her late husbands, even Joe's children would admit that her second husband Leo really knew how to make her smile and laugh. She will be dearly missed.
