ELKHART — Margaret E. "Peggy" Wagner, 68, of Elkhart, passed away Thursday, June 4, at home.
She was born May 16, 1947, in Benton Harbor, Mich., to Carlyle and Maria (Aviles) Dahms.
On Oct. 12, 1968, she married Richard W. Wagner. He preceded her in death Sept. 3, 2008.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Dahms of Michigan and Michael Wagner of Elkhart; one daughter, Laura Gossett of Elkhart; one brother, Michael Dahms of Coloma, Mich.; three sisters, Karen (Wes) Chamberlain of Goshen, Barbara (Rex) Allen of Ormond Beach, Fla., and Carol (René) Secor of Dowagiac, Mich.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Dahms.
Peggy was employed at Fiber-Tron Corp. in Elkhart for many years and later worked with her husband as an over-the-road truck driver for seven years prior to her retirement.
She enjoyed spending time playing games on her computer, scrapbooking, gardening and tending to her flowers.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Monday, June 8, and for one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service Tuesday, June 9, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Pastor Dave Lade will officiate. Interment will follow in Coloma Cemetery.
