ELKHART - Margaret L. "Maggie" Chase, 52, of Elkhart, passed away at 6:40 a.m. Monday, June 20, 2011, at Elkhart Hospice House after a two-year battle with cancer.
Surviving is her daughter, Jessica L. Chase; a half brother, Lance Naasz; a nephew, Dustin Naasz; and her mother, Viola White Cummins, all of Elkhart.
Visitation has been scheduled for 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2011, at Billings Funeral Home, Elkhart, with a celebration of Maggie's life at 7 p.m. In accordance with family wishes, Maggie is to be cremated following her services.
She was a 1977 graduate of Elkhart Central High School and worked at several area businesses including Gemeinhardt and Prudential Realty in Elkhart and finally Sofa Select in Mishawaka. She enjoyed playing Texas Hold 'Em and spending time on the water.
Memorials may be given to United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.
