ELKHART — Marcus Dewayne Thomas, 43, of Elkhart, passed away at his home Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018.

He was born in Birmingham, Alabama, July 2, 1975, to the late Herbert McKinney and Brenda Thomas McKinney, who survives.

He later married Jammie Allen in 2015. She survives as well at home.

Also surviving are children Kyla and Aislynn Thomas and Marasia and Jamarion O'Neill; sister Lushun (Jamar) Wilson; and special aunt, Debra Ann Thomas from Tennessee.

Marcus worked many years at Heartland RV as a welder.

He was a devout Alabama fan, and enjoyed hosting BBQ's and cook outs with his friends and family.

He also was a fashion aficionado and enjoyed dressing well.

A visitation will take place at Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 3 .

Following that, he will return home to Birmingham for a family service and burial there.
