Obituary
ELKHART — Makiah Te'aynna Marie Horton, 13 days, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born Aug. 9, 2012, in Elkhart.
Survivors include her mother, Kasey J. King of Elkhart; her father, Michael T. Horton of Elkhart; two sisters, Azariah Dodson and Makaila Horton, both of Elkhart; brother Te'ayrrien Horton of Elkhart; grandparents Jennifer Calhoun of Elkhart, Regi King of Miami, Fla., and Gloria and Michael Horton of Elkhart; great-grandparents, Lucille King of Elkhart, Charles Calhoun of Elkhart, Louis O'Neal Sr. of Elkhart and Gloria J. O'Neal Sr. of Goshen; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the 6 p.m. memorial service Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Pastor McNeal Stewart will officiate.
Cremation will take place at Altera Cremation Services.
