ELKHART — Maison T. Bueter, 20, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, Dec. 22, at Memorial Hospital of South Bend.
Maison was born June 23, 1994, in Elkhart, to Erik S. and Tammy (LaPlace) Bueter.
Maison is survived by his loving parents, Erik and Tammy; brother Rhys O. Bueter; grandparents Joyce LaPlace, Rachel Miller of Elkhart and Dale Lee of Vandalia, Mich; one aunt, Darla Wallace of Elkhart; three uncles, Dennis (Sharon) LaPlace, Steve (Candi) LaPlace of Edwardsburg, Mich., and Brion LaPlace of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; and several cousins.
Maison was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Kenneth LaPlace and James J. Bueter.
Maison was a 2013 graduate of Jimtown High School, where he lettered in baseball. He attended Northside Church of the Nazarene, where he enjoyed playing volleyball.
Maison was an avid sports fan, especially baseball. He liked to ride his motorcycle and loved animals and children.
He had volunteered with Toys for Tots.
Please join with his family and friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 29, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. A service celebrating Maison's life will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, with visitation for one hour prior at Northside Church of the Nazarene, 53569 C.R. 7, Elkhart. Pastor Victor Burson will officiate.
Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
If friends so desire, memorials may be given to Toys for Tots or the Humane Society of Elkhart County.
