ELKHART — Mae Shantz, 89, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her bedside Sunday evening, Feb. 16.
She was married to DeWayne Shantz for more than 50 years.
Survivors include her two sons, Gregory (Doris) Shantz of Portland, Ore., and Randal J. (Justine) Shantz of Elkhart; daughter Karen (Marley) Shaver of Elkhart; and three grandchildren, Adam (Heidi) Shantz, Thomas Williams and Daniel Williams.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart.
