Lynn Marie Snyder, 56, of Elkhart, passed away unexpectedly at Elkhart General Hospital following sudden illness on Monday, Feb. 25, 2019 at 1:51 am.

She was born in South Bend on Nov. 13, 1962 to the late Capt. Thomas Snyder, EPD, and Jeannie (James) Leicst Snyder Donnell, who survives her.

Also surviving is her son Benjamin T. Snyder; her former spouse and still best friend for 35 years John Eagen; sister Tami (Jeff) Gill and several loving aunts, uncles and cousins, including Carol (Robert) Farley, Jerry (Teri) Snyder and Cindy (Brad) Novak. She is preceded in death by grandparents Benjamin and Patricia Snyder.

A memorial visitation will be held at Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elkhart on Monday, Mar. 4, 2019 at 12:00 noon, followed by a procession to St. Vincent's Cemetery in Elkhart for a 1:00 pm graveside service there, officiated by the Rev. Matthew Coonan from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Lynn thoroughly enjoyed serving as a CNA in the Elkhart area, assisting others with their quality of life for over 16 years. She was also a devout animal advocate, a loyal devotee of rollercoasters and her annual pilgrimage to Cedar Point, visiting zoos and listening to the Bay City Rollers.
