Lynn M. Grove, 84, of Elkhart, IN went to be with his Lord and Savior on Easter Sunday, April, 20, 2025 at Elkhart General Hospital.  Lynn was born on April 27, 1940 in Elkhart, IN to the late Gilbert and Vivian (Wallin) Grove.  He graduated from Concord High School in 1958.

Lynn is survived by his wife, Candance Grove whom he married on September 6, 2019.  Candy took great care of Lynn during this time.

Lynn was preceded in death by the love of his life, Barbara A. Grove whom he married on June 27, 1986 and spent 32 wonderful years together.  He was proceeded in death by the mother of his children, Dottie M. Jones and by his son, Jack Scot Grove.

Lynn is survived by his daughter, Jill (Steve) Rumble and their children, Lynnsey (Zach) Herington, Brennan Rumble, Kennadie Rumble and great grandson.  He is also survived by his son's children, Jesse Raven, Thomas Grove and 2 great grandsons.  He is survived by his step-children Stephanie (Rick) Kurtz, Kim Brant, Paul Hess and Jason (Keisha) Hess.  Also surviving are several step-grandchildren; Elizabeth (Canon) Garman, Richard (May) Kurtz, Daniel (Alicia) Kurtz, Zachary (Kayla) Kurtz, Bradley Kurtz, Hanna Hess, Jacob Hess, Sam Hess, Jeremiah Hess, Sera Hess, Kylie (Kris) Tyler and Ethan Hess.  Lynn is also survived by 12 great step-grandkids. Lynn is also survived by his sister, Susan (Stan) Erskine.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews that all love Uncle Lynn.

Lynn was a devout Christian and shared his love of Jesus with everyone he came into contact with.  In his late 20's he started teaching 11th grade Sunday School and continued for 15 years.  After that he taught young adults until several years ago when he stepped down.  Lynn loved gospel music and sang in the choir and quartets most of his life.  He also was the choir director for 20 plus years at Grace Bible.

Lynn started his career at Grove Machine Company, which his father started.  Lynn took over ownership in the 70's and worked there until retirement.  He enjoyed his work immensely and took pride in it.

Lynn will be missed greatly by all those that loved him.  He was a huge influence on many people's lives and impacted more people than he ever knew.

A Memorial Service for Lynn will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514 with Pastor Kyle Grant of Grace Bible Church officiating.

Friends may visit 1 hour prior to the start of the service from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
