ELKHART — Lynn A. Glotzback, 72, of Elkhart, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 20, at Sprenger Health Care of Mishawaka.
He was born Aug. 27, 1943, to Herbert A. and Elizabeth M. (Russell) Glotzback.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Debbie Glotzback of Elkhart; one daughter, Lori (Brad) Springer of Elkhart; two sons, Brian Glotzback of Denver, Colo., and Antonio Glotzback of Elkhart; one brother, Lee (Barbara) Glotzback of Brandon, Fla.; three grandchildren, Logan (Catherine) Springer of Clarksville, Tenn., Jillian and Austin Springer, both of Elkhart; and dog and "best friend," Missy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Alexis Glotzback; one sister, Nadine Hanning and stepmother Elizabeth Glotzback.
Lynn was employed as a product design engineer at Elkhart Brass for 47 years prior to his retirement in 2013.
He was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and was an avid Notre Dame football fan.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. A prayer vigil will begin at 7:45 p.m.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 1331 N. Main St., Elkhart, visitation will begin for one hour prior. The Rev. Jason Freiburger will officiate.
