Obituary
ELKHART — Lyle "Doug" Snodgrass, 63, of Elkhart, received a new address in heaven on Glory Way, on Oct. 14.
Lyle was born April 22, 1953, to Horton and Elizabeth Snodgrass. He was a loving husband and father.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Snodgrass, and his three children Janell Lunsford (Patrick), Jeremy Snodgrass (Heather) and Joy Robinson (Rick). He was Papa to his grandchildren Hailey, Jake and Hallie Snodgrass; Noah, Jonah, Wyatt and Ellyana Robinson; and Jayla Lunsford.
He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Pam Burkhart (Richard), Marsha Sheets, David Snodgrass (Teresa) and Dana Snodgrass (Lisa). He was loved by his many nieces and nephews.
Doug was an avid hunter and fisherman. He touched many lives through his selfless acts and kindness. He was a member of Radiant Life Church.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service Wednesday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Pastor John Utley of Radiant Life Church will officiate. Interment will follow in Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Virginia Snodgrass at 1308 Moffat Lane, Elkhart, IN 46517.
