BRISTOL — Lucy J. (Bobik) Young, 67, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 at Goshen General Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. She was born September 15, 1950 in South Bend to the late Joseph and Teresa (Bianco) Bobik. She has lived in this area her entire life. Surviving are her siblings, Joseph and Thomas (Cristina) Bobik, Teresa Stebbins and Amy (Jeff) Jozwiak; 2 nieces, 5 nephews, 2 grandnieces and 6 grandnephews survive her as well. Lucy attended St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church in Bristol. She was a woman of great faith, and visited many of the area catholic churches to pray and meditate. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM, on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 4508 Vistula Road, Mishawaka, IN 46544. Reverend Robert VanKempen will officiate. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 11:00 AM.

In honoring her wishes, cremation will follow the mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Congregation of Holy Cross, for education and formations of the seminarians. Arrangements for Lucy are under the care of Billings Funeral Home, Elkhart.
