Lucy Estella Bryant, 68, of Elkhart passed away Thursday April 7, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family following a brave battle with cancer. She was born on December 16, 1953 to the late Will and Criscilla (Dixon) Miller in Blue Island, IL.

Lucy is survived by her husband of nearly 43 years, David Bryant; daughters, Lori (Thomas) Richter and Adrianne (Robert) Foster; son, Matthew (Ashley) Bryant; sister, Bobbie (Fred) Gardner; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her parents; son, Michael Bryant and brother, William Miller.

Lucy graduated from Mishawaka High School and was a life-long learner, reading a wide variety of books. She loved to garden and along with David raised goats, pigs and chickens while living in Middlebury. She was generous, always willing to share everything she had.

Family was everything to Lucy. Driving to the many practices as well as attending performances and sporting events for her children and later grandchildren brought her great joy. That love of family extended to include many people that were brought into the fold. There was always room for you with Lucy. Wife, Mom, Daughter, Sister, Nana and Friend.

Cremation has been chosen and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being made with Billings Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Cincinnati, 341 Erkenbrecher Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45229.
