Cindy G. Wirt, 75, of Edwardsburg, passed away, peacefully with her family at her home.

Cindy was born on May 8, 1945 in Battle Creek, MI to the late, Maynard Wirt and Thelma Flinner. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Melinda "Mindy" Pebley in April of 2016.

She is survived by her daughters, Paula (Mike) Mather of Edwardsburg, MI, Jennifer Williams of Granger, IN, Corina "Cori" (Joe) Kleppe of Edwardsburg, MI and Lorrie (Brenda) DeMeyer of Oldsmar, FL; her brother, Steve (Lee) Wirt; 11 grand-children, 18 great grand-children; and her long time friend, Jo Nolan

Cindy was a 1963 graduate of Elkhart High School. She was a registered nurse with Elkhart General Hospital. She enjoyed sewing, camping and fishing. Most of all, she adored her dogs, Bones and Pippa.

There will be no services for Cindy. She will be cremated per her wishes. Billings Funeral Home, 821 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514 is assisting the family.
