Obituary
Lt. Col. Craig A. Miller, USAF, (Ret.), 64, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully at Riverside Terrace in Elkhart on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016.
He was born Feb. 7, 1952 in Howell, MI to the late Blake and Marion Miller, and later married Patricia J. Ryan in June of 1990. She passed away in 2015.
Surviving are his children Ryan Miller of Goshen and Molly Miller of Elkhart; sisters Cheryl and Carol Miller, and a host of extended family.
Graveside services and military honors will be rendered by Elkhart DAV 19 and the US Air Force Funeral Honor Guard at the Veterans' Towers at Prairie Street Cemetery on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will begin one hour prior at Billings Funeral Home in Elkhart.
Although Lt. Col. Allen was a 28 year veteran of the Air Force, serving stateside commanding the 217th Engineering Installation Squadron, as well as completing multiple deployments in the Middle East with the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing, USAF Central Command, he will be best remembered for his love of hunting, fishing and being the "best band dad ever."
Memorials may go to the Wounded Warriors Project.
