Louise I. Roush, 87, of Elkhart, passed away Tuesday, March 10, at Beardsley House Assisted Living Facility in Elkhart.
She was born July 7, 1927, in Elkhart, to Ernest and Tressa (Scott) Brandon.
Survivors include four grandchildren, Amy Schult of Elkhart, Dawn Stockfield of Glendale, Ariz., Laura (Tim) Parsons of Lafayette and Justin Roush of Lehigh Acres, Fla.; five great-grandchildren, Emily (Reuben) Rockenbaugh of Elkhart, Christopher Avery of Nappanee, Ashley Avery of LaPorte, Anthony Avery of Bremen and Mary Jane Bowers of Glendale, Ariz.; and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Roush; one daughter, Judith Weaver; one son, Dennis Roush; twin brother, Louis Brandon; and brother Robert Brandon.
Louise was a lifelong resident of Elkhart and a graduate of Elkhart High School. She was employed at CTS for several years prior to her retirement.
She was a member of Church of the Living Word and spent many years volunteering at Faith Mission.
Louise was a wonderful cook and enjoyed spending time sewing.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 13, and two hours prior to the 3 p.m. Saturday, March 14, funeral service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Pastor Don Martin will officiate. Cremation will follow at Altera Cremation Services.
Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Mission in memory of Louise.
