Mrs. Louise E. McKrill, 83, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully of natural causes at Elkhart General Hospital on Wednesday, Mar. 11, 2020 at 10:35 am.  She was born Sept. 4, 1936 in Goshen to the late Clarence and Vera (Kendall) Berkey. On April 14, 1956, she married Warren F. McKrill in Elkhart. He passed away in 2006.

Surviving are her children Greg S. McKrill and Pamela J. (Timothy) Amerman, both of Elkhart.

A viewing will be held at Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elkhart on Monday, March 16, 2020 from 1-2 pm. A procession will then leave the funeral home to Peace Mausoleum at Rice Cemetery in Elkhart for a 2:00 pm graveside service there. Entombment will follow.

Louise worked as a manager with the Elkhart Credit Bureau for nearly 25 years, then went on to spend another 15 years in the pharmacy at the Wal-Mart on CR 6.  She was a huge IU basketball / Bobby Knight fan and a devout Christian lady as well.
