ELKHART — Lorna "Dee" Knowles, 85, of Elkhart, passed away at the Riverside Village Nursing Home, Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018.

Lorna Dee was born in Scottville, Michigan, July 6, 1932, to Larry and Myrtle (Sterley) Brown.

Lorna Dee married Tellies Knowles of Scottville and made their home near Columbus, Ohio, eventually settling in Elkhart, in 1968.

Surviving are her sons, Larry (Mary) Knowles of Painesville, Ohio and Gary (Valerie) Knowles of Duncannon, Pennsylvania.

Lorna Dee was blessed with four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Tellies Knowles, and a brother, LaVern Brown, preceded her in death.

Lorna Dee worked for many, many years at FSSA, Elkhart, where she made many lifelong friends.

In accordance with her wishes, no services are planned.

Lorna Dee's remains will be cremated with the assistance of Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart.

She will be buried in Scottville, Michigan, next to her beloved parents, Larry and Myrtle Brown.
