ELKHART — Lois H. Brown Klotz, 89, of Elkhart and formerly of Ohio, passed to her rest on Monday, May 9, at the Center for Hospice Care, South Bend.
She was born April 4, 1927, in Detroit, to the late William T. and Arlyle (Dickens) Mooney.
Surviving are a son, Thomas M. Brown of Elkhart and his companion Christine Galwas of South Bend; daughter Helen L. (Keith) Collins of Howell, Mich.; stepson Dean (Barbara) Klotz of Katy, Texas; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Evelyn Jewell of Bloomfield Twp., Mich.
She was preceded in death by husbands Marshall M. Brown and Benjamin R. Klotz and a sister, Mary Richardson.
Lois was a homemaker and avid euchre player. She was a former member of the seniors group that met at the YMCA in Elkhart.
Per Lois' wishes, cremation was chosen, with burial at a later date in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park in Toledo, Ohio.
Lois' family would like to thank her caregivers, Theresa, Kim and Dawn, for their kindness and care to Lois over the past few years.
