BRISTOL — Lois Jean Kline, 84, of Bristol, passed away Monday morning, Aug. 20, 2012, at Elkhart General Hospital.
Lois was born Dec. 12, 1927, in Elkhart to the late Alfred and Clara (Hershberger) Kreischer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Kreischer; and sisters Erma Stover and Ruby Mae Zimmerman.
She married Haskle Kline Jr. on June 24, 1950, in Bristol. They recently celebrated 62 years of marriage.
Surviving are her husband, Haskle Kline Jr. of Bristol, and sons Steven A. Kline of Sturgis, Mich., and Keith M. (Betty) Kline of Bristol. Also surviving are her three grandchildren, Mickayla, Megan and Michael; and a brother, Ralph (Ruth) Kreischer of Ocala, Fla.
Lois was a homemaker, a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church and was active in the Zion Extension Homemakers Club. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
Friends and family may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Friends may also call for one hour prior to the 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, services celebrating the life of Lois at Zion Lutheran Church, 20943 C.R. 6, Bristol. Pastor Karen Strietelmeier will officiate. Burial will follow in Little Pine Cemetery in Goshen.
